As you’ve probably noticed, all securities experience different personalities at various times – sometimes they are trending, other times they are choppy. Consequently, no one trading system works well in all types of markets. That’s why OmniTrader uses Nirvana Systems’ exclusive Adaptive Reasoning Model® which actually adapts to each security’s current personality, and only uses the best performing trading systems to generate buy and sell signals.
As OmniTrader tests its 120 trading systems on each security in your list, it selects only the trading systems that are performing the best right now on that particular security. Then OmniTrader uses those best performing trading systems to "vote" a consensus buy/sell signal.
When its done performing this process for each security in your list, OmniTrader displays these consensus signals on the Voting Line on your charts, with the individual trading systems that formed the consensus below in the Systems Area. So you can see exactly how OmniTrader generated each of its trading signals. And OmniTrader performs this process for every stock, index, mutual fund and future in your Focus List.
Once OmniTrader has generate its list of buy/sell signals, you can confirm the signals to find the best opportunities. Review the test period statistics for each signal. Pull up charts with trendlines, support & resistance levels, pivot points and Fibonacci’s automatically drawn on the chart. Double click on the signal on the Voting Line and OmniTrader reveals all the details about the signal. Pull up the Voting Line and the Systems Area shows you exactly which systems were used to form the signal. Click on a system and see it plotted on the chart. No other software gives you so many tools to confirm your trading decisions!
Built-In Portfolio Manager Tracks Your Trades
Once you’ve reviewed your Focus List and made your trading decisions, OmniTrader will track all your trades in the built-in Portfolio Manager. When you see a trade you want, just click the BUY, SELL or EXIT icon and enter your order. You can enter market, stop, limit orders for stocks, mutual funds, futures and options. OmniTrader will track all your trades, automatically update your position each day and generate reports as needed including a complete Schedule D at the end of the year for your tax records. OmniTrader will even place graphic Stop Controls on your charts to allow you to easily manage your profits.
Trading Simulators Help Improve Your Skills and Confidence
Only OmniTrader includes two trading simulators to help fine-tune your trading skills and become more familiar with the program. The simulator includes all the features of the program so that you make real world trades with actual data and evaluate your results. The Trading GameÔ is for practicing your trading skills on one security while the Lab ModeÔ is for practicing your trading skills on a portfolio of securities.
Compatible Data Feeds
OmniTrader includes three years of historical data on CD-ROM, so you can evaluate the product without subscribing to a data service. OmniTrader works with all the most popular data services, including Telescan, Worden Bros., Dial/Data, CSI, Pinnacle, Primate, Quotes Plus, etc. and supports data downloaded in the following data formats: MetaStock, Omega Data Manager, CSI, AIQ, Computrac, and Worden Brothers. So if you already own another software package, like MetaStock, SuperCharts, Window On Wall Street, AIQ, or TC2000, OmniTrader will work just fine with the data you’ve already downloaded.
If don’t already subscribe to a data service, many of our customers subscribe to Telescan for their data. Telescan is fully integrated with OmniTrader and therefore very easy to use. Telescan offers stocks, indexes, mutual funds, futures and options… all for just $29.95 per month. You can pay month-to-month, so there are no long-term contracts to sign and you can download as much data as often as you want for the same flat monthly rate.
